Dear Pastor Corey and The Calvary Chapel Church,

I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude. On behalf of God’s Servants Ministry, I want to sincerely thank you and the entire congregation for your incredibly generous support of $1,090.

This gift is a direct answer to prayer and will go a long way in helping us feed the hungry in our community. We truly thank God for your partnership and the spirit of love you have shown us.

A Serious Prayer Request

While we celebrate this blessing, we are also facing a significant trial and wanted to share a specific prayer request with you.

Recently, our church building collapsed. The structure, which was held up by wooden poles and covered with glass on the roof and sides, was severely weakened because termites had eaten through the wood. The weight of the recent heavy rains finally caused it to fall.

Our Vision for the Future:

  • The Plan: We hope to build a more permanent structure with brick walls and iron sheets for the roof to withstand the elements.
  • Our First Step: Since we are a small, newly planted church with limited funds, we plan to begin by molding our own bricks.
  • The Need: We are praying that as we take this step of faith, God might open doors for others to assist us with the remaining building materials.
I have attached photos of the damage to this email so you can see the current situation.

Please keep our small congregation in your prayers as we seek to rebuild a place of worship for our community. We trust that God will provide a way where there seems to be no way.

May God richly bless you and your church family for your kindness and your prayers.

Your brother in Christ,
Milton Kandiero
Chairman, God's Servants Ministry
