Guatemala Deaf Ministries
January 2026
Happy New Year to everyone. We are off to a great start for 2026. Thanks to many generous donations we were able to hire two new teachers pictured below.

Helen is excited to be teaching Deaf children in the first level. School starts on February 10th and she is busy learning Guatemalan Sign Language and preparing for her class.
Katy is a CODA which is "Child Of a Deaf Adult". Her mother Ruth, who is Deaf, has worked for GDM for many years now. Katy will be teaching the 4th level class and may help out in the PRONEA program. She already knows sign language, growing up with Deaf parents. She will need to learn more in order to teach the higher-level classes.
As the staff prepares for school to start soon, the church services continue.

The two people pictured above came to church on Sunday past and received Jesus Christ as their Savior. God is moving in the hearts of the Deaf in Guatemala. There is a Deaf Camp going on this weekend so please be praying for this event. Several people from the States are coming down to Guatemala to help out.
Your prayers make a difference in the lives of the Deaf community in Guatemala. Please continue praying for this ministry, our staff, our students, Jeanette and I, and the Deaf people we serve. Please consider donating to the ministry. You can use PayPal or send us a check. The info is below.
May the Lord bless you in this new year.
In His service, Greg and Jeanette
