"Prayers for a Youth Seminar"

Dear Pastor Corey,

I hope you and the family are doing well. I am writing to ask for your prayers and support for a Youth Seminar we are planning next month.

We are very concerned about the struggles many of our young people are facing: suicide, HIV/AIDS, drug and alcohol use, dropping out of school, abortion, and disengagement from church life. The seminar will address these issues by teaching practical ways to cope with depression and anxiety, discussing the consequences of substance use and abortion, and encouraging youth to join and serve in church ministries such as singing groups and Bible study. We will also teach about business.

Please pray for wisdom for the organizers and facilitators, openness and healing in the hearts of the youth, and God’s provision for the event. We will need facilitators to lead sessions and some financial support to provide refreshments and materials. If you know of anyone who might assist as a facilitator or if the church can help in any way, their involvement would be deeply appreciated.
