Brief 2-Month Recap

Hello Everyone,
Things are busy in the ministry. It seems that every month something is going on. Here's a recap of the last two months.

This was the Deaf Women's Conference at the end of July. It was a huge success.

The Youth Conference last month was well attended. Most of these kids started school with us as small children. Wow, they are growing up.

Guatemala Independence Day Celebration was today at the ministry. The parents brought their favorite Guatemalan dishes.

Meanwhile, back in the States, our 22nd grandchild was born.

The International Week of the Deaf is coming up at the end of September. The ministry will celebrate the event with a march around El Progreso. This is always a great way to get the word out about Guatemala Deaf Ministries, which is just eight minutes down the road.

There has been much work going on in front of the church building. I'll try to feature that for the next update.
